The Red Mosque is one of Peja's Ottoman-era religious landmarks, smaller and less prominent than the city's headline sights but still part of the old urban fabric. It helps explain Peja as more than a gateway to Rugova and the Patriarchate.
Visit it as part of a slow walk through the bazaar area rather than as a stand-alone destination. The mosque, lanes, shops, and nearby river crossings give a compact sense of the city's Muslim heritage and everyday centre.
