Palanga has a lively bar scene in summer, concentrated along Basanavicius Street and the streets running parallel to it. In the height of July the town buzzes until the early hours; in September it quiets dramatically. Craft beer has arrived in Lithuania and several bars here stock interesting local brews alongside the standard Švyturys and Utenos.
