Palanga Airport (PLQ) is Lithuania's second airport, with seasonal flights to several European cities including London (Ryanair), Oslo, Copenhagen, and Dublin. In the off-season, services are much reduced. The airport is three kilometres from the town centre.
By road, Palanga is 30 kilometres north of Klaipėda (Lithuania's main port city) and about 340 kilometres from Vilnius — roughly three hours by bus or car on the A1 motorway. Regular long-distance bus services connect Palanga to Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipėda throughout the year, with extra summer services.
