Wasserbillig is pleasant from spring through autumn. The cycling season along the Moselle runs April to October, with the best weather in May, June, and September. The vineyard slopes are most dramatic in October, when the vines turn gold and the grape harvest fills the air with fermentation.
July and August bring the most visitors to the Moselle cycle path. Winter is quiet — some cafes and wine cellars close or reduce hours, and the cycling route is less appealing in cold weather. The town functions year-round as a commuter and transit hub, however, so facilities are always open.
