The Church of the Holy Saviour is one of central Skopje's most important Orthodox churches. Its plain exterior reflects Ottoman-era restrictions on church building, but inside is a richly carved 19th-century wooden iconostasis with detailed biblical scenes and self-portraits of the craftsmen.
The courtyard also holds the sarcophagus of Goce Delcev, a major Macedonian national figure, with a small museum nearby.
