The town's central park runs along the Răut River through the middle of Orhei — lime trees, benches, a Soviet-era war memorial, and an embankment that fills with families on summer evenings. It is the local social space and a pleasant 20-minute walk to fill the wait for a marshrutka or a meal.
The park connects the bus station to the church and the museum, so it is also the natural axis for a short tour of the town.
