Orhei History and Ethnography Museum

A small regional museum on the main square covering Orhei district history from the Geto-Dacian period through the Moldavian principality to the Soviet years. The strongest collection is the ethnographic display — embroidered shirts, woven carpets, painted Easter eggs, and household objects from villages around the Răut valley.

Labels are mostly in Romanian. The collection of finds from Orheiul Vechi (medieval coins, ceramics, glass) is the most useful prelude to visiting the monastery complex itself.
