Locus Publicus

Delft's best beer bar, with over 100 Belgian and Dutch craft beers available, most served in the correct glass for the style. The interior is a classic Dutch brown cafe — dark wood, old beer signs, and the warm amber glow that comes from decades of pipe smoke absorbed into the panelling. It sits on the Brabantse Turfmarkt canal, with a small terrace facing the water.

A good place to spend an afternoon working through the beer list, which the bar takes seriously enough to employ staff who can guide you through it. The standard bitterballen and snacks are available to maintain energy levels. Popular with students and with visitors who know what they're looking for.
