Enschede Railway Station

Enschede's main railway station is a handsome early 20th-century building at the terminus of the Amsterdam line. The station has been renovated and enlarged over the years but retains the character of its 1930s expansion, when the station was built to serve a prosperous industrial city. The area in front of the station is the main transport interchange for the city.

From the station, the city centre is a 10-minute walk east. Bike rental is available at the station, which is the most convenient starting point for cycling routes into the Twente countryside.
