Almost everything in Flåm is about the fjord and the railway. The Flåmsbana ride up to Myrdal is the primary reason most people come; the Nærøyfjord ferry or kayak is the second. Those who stay longer find hiking trails into the surrounding valleys and a surprisingly good local brewery.
