The Lofoten Aquarium, third of the Storvågan trio, shows the marine life of the Norwegian Sea — cod (the historic basis of the whole archipelago's economy), wolfish, halibut, monkfish, and a couple of resident otters and seals that are fed at scheduled times each day. The building sits right on the shore, so the water in the tanks comes straight off the bay outside.
It is small and unflashy, but well done and especially good for families. Plan around the feeding times if you can — the seals and otters give the visit a focal point that the static tanks alone would not.
