Ryvingen Lighthouse

Ryvingen Lighthouse stands on the island of Ryvingen, off the coast south of Mandal. Built in 1867, it is Norway's southernmost lighthouse and marks a particularly exposed stretch of coast.

The appeal is the combination of maritime history and open sea views. Visits depend on boat access and weather, so plan it as a short coastal excursion rather than a walk-up sight in town.
