Jelenia Góra is about 110 km southwest of Wrocław and 120 km east of Görlitz on the German border.
By train: Regular trains connect Jelenia Góra to Wrocław (about 2.5 hours). There are also connections to Szklarska Poręba and Karpacz for mountain access. International connections require changing at Wrocław.
By bus: FlixBus and regional coaches connect Jelenia Góra to Wrocław, Kraków, and Berlin. The bus station is adjacent to the train station.
By car: From Wrocław take the A4 motorway west then the S3 south. From Germany, the E65 crosses the border at Zgorzelec/Görlitz and continues south.
