The Church of the Immaculate Conception is a sturdy neo-Gothic church near Mariacka Street, one of central Katowice's better street-level architectural sights. Its brick massing and pointed arches make a good visual counterpoint to the bars and restaurants nearby.
It is not a headline stop, but it is worth a brief look if you are already walking between the market square, Mariacka, and the History of Katowice Museum.
