Getting There

Kielce is on the main rail line between Warsaw and Kraków, with several IC and TLK trains daily in each direction. From Warsaw the trip takes around two and a quarter hours; from Kraków about two hours. The station is at the western end of Sienkiewicza Street, an easy walk to the centre.

By car the city sits on the S7 expressway between Warsaw (180 km north) and Kraków (115 km south); both drives take just over two hours. The bus station is next to the railway station, with PKS and FlixBus connections to most Polish cities.

The nearest international airports are Warsaw Chopin (WAW) and Kraków-Balice (KRK), both reachable by direct train. Local Kielce-Masłów airport is small and currently has no scheduled passenger service.
