Rzeszów has its own international airport, Rzeszów-Jasionka (RZE), about 10 km north of the city. Direct flights connect to several European hubs — Warsaw, London Stansted, Dublin, Frankfurt — and seasonal routes operate from a handful of other cities. A regular bus runs into the centre in about thirty minutes.
By rail, Rzeszów Główny is on the main east-west line between Krakow (two hours by PKP InterCity) and Przemyśl on the Ukrainian border (one hour). Direct trains from Warsaw take about four hours. Long-distance buses (FlixBus, PolskiBus) connect to most major Polish cities and to Lviv, Kyiv, and Bratislava.
By road, Rzeszów sits on the A4 motorway, the main east-west route across southern Poland — driving from Krakow takes about an hour and a half. The city is also a logical stop on any road trip to the Bieszczady mountains, the Lemko region, or the Slovakian Tatras.
