Getting There

By Air

Wrocław-Copernicus Airport (WRO) lies about 10 km west of the centre. It is served by Ryanair, Wizz Air, Lufthansa, LOT and several other carriers, with direct flights to most major European cities. Bus 106 connects the airport to the central station in roughly 30 minutes; taxis cost about 70-80 PLN.

By Train

Wrocław Główny — itself one of Poland's most beautiful 19th-century neo-Gothic railway stations, recently restored — has direct intercity connections to Warsaw (around 4 hours by EIC/EIP), Kraków (3.5 hours), Poznań (2 hours), Berlin (4.5 hours direct or via Frankfurt-on-Oder), and Prague (around 5 hours via Pardubice). PKP Intercity and Polregio both operate.

By Road

Wrocław sits at the junction of two motorways — the A4 east-west (Berlin-Kraków-Lviv) and the A8 ring road. Long-distance buses (FlixBus, RegioJet, PolskiBus) connect to most major Polish and German cities at the Wrocław bus terminal next to the railway station.
