The grid of streets immediately north of the river, beyond Ostrów Tumski. Nadodrze is the city's most visibly gentrifying area — once a forgotten quarter of working-class tenements, now full of design studios, vintage shops, third-wave coffee houses, small art galleries and craft beer bars. Street art covers many of the side-street walls.
Walking the area is a good half-day for anyone interested in the contemporary creative side of Wrocław. The independent café Cafe Rozrusznik and the local-beer-focused Spiż Restauracja are the kind of places that have anchored the neighbourhood's reinvention.
