National Forum of Music

Address Plac Wolności 1, 50-071 Wrocław

A modern concert hall opened in 2015 on Plac Wolności, just west of the Rynek. The building's controversial copper-clad facade has weathered to a darker patina than originally intended, but the four halls inside — including a main hall seating 1,800 with retractable seating, capable of being configured for symphony, opera, or chamber concerts — have made the Forum the most important new music venue in Poland this century.

The home of the Wrocław Philharmonic; programmes throughout the season include the long-running Wratislavia Cantans festival in September and a steady run of touring orchestras.
