Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval

The Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval stands beside Evora's Roman temple, built partly from the remains of an older castle. Its mix of Manueline, Moorish, and later palace details adds another layer to the historic centre.

Parts of the palace display manuscripts, family portraits, and religious art from the 16th century onward. It is an easy stop while visiting the cathedral, Roman temple, and museum quarter.
