Deva's restaurant scene is unpretentious and good value. The pedestrianised area around Bulevardul 1 Decembrie 1918 and Piața Victoriei has the densest cluster of cafes, terraces and traditional Romanian restaurants. Wine from the surrounding Mureș valley is reliable; ask for the house red.
