Casa Dosoftei is a small stone house beside the Palace of Culture, named for Dosoftei, the 17th-century scholar and Moldavian metropolitan who helped bring Romanian into literary and church use. The building now works as a compact literary and historical stop in the old centre.
It is easy to see together with the Palace of Culture and Trei Ierarhi Monastery, both only a few minutes away on foot.
