Radu Stanian House is one of Ploiesti's most elegant mansions, better known locally as the Wedding Palace after its years as the civil registry office. It was owned by two generations of the Stanian family, both important figures in the city's politics around the turn of the 20th century.
The building's present look comes from a major 1926 reconstruction, which gave it the confident national-style architecture that makes it stand out today.
