Strukovsky Garden

Samara's oldest public park, established in the 19th century on a hill above the Volga with views over the river and across to the far bank. The garden is compact but well-maintained, with shaded walks, a small amphitheatre used for summer concerts, and a ferris wheel that remains a city landmark. It sits between the old merchant quarter and the embankment, making it a natural stopping point on a walk through the historic centre.

In summer the garden is particularly alive — Samara's summers are warm and outdoor life moves into parks and the embankment for months at a stretch.
