Tver River Terminal

Soviet-era river station at the confluence of the Volga and Tvertsa

The Tver River Terminal stands where the Tvertsa meets the Volga, a late Soviet landmark whose circular forms and riverside position make it hard to miss. Its practical role has faded, but it remains one of the city's most distinctive pieces of waterfront architecture.

The area around it is more interesting than polished. Come for the view over the confluence and the sense of how river transport once shaped Tver, not for a fully restored attraction.
