Zlatibor resort is small enough to walk across in twenty minutes. The main attractions — the lake, the market, the gondola station for Tornik — are all within easy reach on foot from any hotel in the centre.
For excursions to the surrounding villages and sites (Drvengrad, Sargan Eight, Sirogojno, Mokra Gora, Uvac Gorge), a car makes things much easier. Car hire is available in the resort; local taxis are plentiful and inexpensive by western standards, and drivers are accustomed to taking visitors on half-day or full-day excursions. Agree on a price before departure. A few minibus tour operators in the resort run organised day trips to Drvengrad and Sargan Eight if you prefer not to arrange your own transport.
