Jesenice is easy to reach by train. The station sits on routes linking Ljubljana and Bled with the Upper Sava valley, and it is also useful for cross-border travel toward Austria.
Drivers reach the town from the A2 motorway and the roads through the Sava Dolinka valley. For most visitors, Jesenice works best as a rail stop or a short detour from Bled or Kranjska Gora rather than a base for a whole holiday.
