Getting There

Vejer sits inland from the Costa de la Luz, above the road between Cádiz, Conil, and Tarifa. The nearest useful airports are Jerez, Seville, and Málaga, depending on where you are coming from.

By bus: Buses connect Vejer with Cádiz, Conil, Barbate, and other towns in La Janda, but services are not frequent enough for casual hopping. Check current timetables before planning a same-day return.

By car: A car is the simplest way to reach Vejer and to combine it with Conil, Barbate, El Palmar, or the inland white villages. Park outside the old town and walk in; the historic centre is not friendly to indecisive driving.
