Getting There

Albarracín is genuinely remote — there is no train station and no airport closer than Valencia or Zaragoza. The practical access is by car, on the A-1512 from Teruel (about 40 minutes' drive west). Teruel itself is on the slow Cercanías railway from Valencia and the Zaragoza–Valencia line.

A few daily buses (operated by Furió/Samar) connect Teruel to Albarracín, but the schedules are designed for locals rather than tourists. Most visitors arrive by hire car, often as part of a wider Aragon road trip from Zaragoza or Valencia. Parking is at the lower entrance to the town; the old quarter is closed to non-resident traffic.
