Playa de Torimbia

Torimbia is one of the most beautiful beaches in Asturias, a wide crescent of golden sand framed by high green headlands that drops steeply to the sea. It is a naturist beach, officially and by long tradition, though this is loosely enforced and non-naturist visitors are perfectly welcome. The approach is part of the appeal: a footpath descends steeply through woodland from the road above, arriving at a beach that feels genuinely secluded even when reasonably busy.

The beach has no facilities — no kiosks, no sun loungers for hire, no development of any kind on the sand. Bring water and food. The cliff walk from the road gives views in both directions along the coast before you descend. Torimbia is about 6 km west of Llanes by car, then a 10-minute walk down to the beach. The road ends at a small parking area above; you can also reach it on foot from the village of Niembro along the Senda Costera coastal path.
