Cala Sant Vicenç

Cala Sant Vicenç is a small resort five kilometres north of Pollença built around four little coves backed by the dramatic cliffs of the Cavall Bernat. The water is bright turquoise and clear, the beaches are mostly small, sandy, and crowded in season but quiet at the edges.

The cala is also archaeologically significant — the prehistoric Hypogea of Cala Sant Vicenç, a set of rock-cut burial caves from the Bronze Age, are signposted just back from the beach. They are small but well-preserved and free to enter. The clifftop walk towards the Bóquer valley begins near the coves.
