Pollença is small enough to see on foot in half a day, but it rewards a longer stay. The 365-step Calvari staircase, the hilltop monastery of Puig de Maria, the Roman bridge, and the Sunday market are the obvious highlights — beyond those, the town is a base for the Tramuntana mountains and the coast at Cap de Formentor, both of which deserve their own day.
