Gehry's titanium-clad icon that transformed Bilbao

Address Abandoibarra Etorb. 2, 48009 Bilbao

Frank Gehry's titanium-clad masterpiece on the Nervión waterfront is one of the most celebrated buildings of the twentieth century. The swirling forms clad in thousands of precisely cut titanium panels house a world-class collection of modern and contemporary art, including works by Kandinsky, Picasso, Koons, and Pollock. Jeff Koons' giant floral sculpture Puppy guards the entrance. Allow two to three hours minimum. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am–8pm.
