The bar on the Plaza Mayor is the natural gathering point for the village. Shaded by the arcade in summer and reliably warm in winter, it's the place to sit with a cortado in the morning or a glass of local wine in the early evening while the square does its thing around you. Pintxos appear at lunchtime; the selection is modest but reliable. The house wine is poured from barrels of local Rioja Alavesa. Simple, unpretentious, and exactly what you want in a village square bar.
