Lagomar

Lanzarote house-museum and cave-like complex associated with Omar Sharif legend and island design.

Lagomar is one of Lanzarote’s more theatrical built places, a whitewashed, cave-like complex worked into volcanic rock near Teguise. It is often linked with the Omar Sharif story, but the real draw is the way architecture, courtyards, water, and stone create a very island-specific fantasy.

Visit it as a design stop rather than a conventional museum. The spaces are photogenic, slightly eccentric, and best paired with Teguise’s historic streets or a broader route through central Lanzarote.
