Panteon del Ingles is a small coastal monument on the Cueto side of Santander, near the cliffs between El Bocal and the Devil's Bridge. It is not a major museum-piece sight, but the setting gives it a melancholy pull: stone, open sea, and a story of death far from home.
Fold it into a coastal walk rather than making a special cross-city trip. The reward is the atmosphere of the Santander shoreline away from the formal beaches, where the city gives way to rougher rock and the Cantabrian Sea feels much closer.
