Barcelona Zoo sits on the seaward side of Parc de la Ciutadella, making it easy to combine with the park and El Born. It is best known locally as the former home of Snowflake, the famous albino gorilla, but the visit is broader than that: animal enclosures, family-friendly exhibits, and a science museum setting within the park grounds.
