Passeig del Born is the broad medieval promenade running between Santa Maria del Mar and the old Born market. In the Middle Ages it hosted jousts, fairs, and civic ceremonies; today it is one of El Born's main walking streets.
It is worth using as the spine of a wander through the neighbourhood, with the church, Mercat del Born, small lanes, and evening bars all close by.
