Blanes Beach is the town's central beach, a long stretch of coarse sand beside the old centre and harbour. It has the practical facilities visitors expect from an urban Costa Brava beach, including showers, toilets, lifeguard cover in season, accessible areas, and nearby cafes and shops.
It is the easiest beach to use without leaving town, and pairs naturally with a walk to Sa Palomera or the harbour.
