S'Abanell Beach is the long southern beach of Blanes, stretching from the resort waterfront toward the Tordera river mouth. Its length gives it a more open feel than the small coves farther up the Costa Brava, and it is the town's main beach for straightforward sun-and-sea time.
Facilities and crowds vary by season, with the busiest areas closest to town. Walk south for more space, or stay near the promenade if you want cafes, rentals, and easy access back into Blanes.
