Sant Francesc Cove is the kind of small Costa Brava beach that makes Blanes more than a resort strip. The sand sits in a protected inlet between rocky shoulders, with pine-covered slopes behind it and water that is usually clearer than on the broader town beaches.
It gets busy in high summer, but the setting still feels more intimate than the main beachfront. Bring shoes if you plan to scramble around the rocks, and come early if you want the cove before the umbrellas settle in.
