Els Brancs is the Michelin-starred restaurant of the Hotel Vistabella, set on a terrace right above the sea on the eastern side of Roses. The kitchen, under chef Paco Pérez (also of Miramar in Llançà), works the local catch hard: gamba de Roses served raw or just barely warmed, suquet of monkfish, langoustine with sea-water risotto.
Service is precise without being stiff, the wine list ranges across Catalan and broader Mediterranean labels, and the views — particularly at sunset — are exceptional. Set menus only at dinner; reservations essential.
