Llevant Beach and Promenade

Llevant Beach is Salou's largest and most central beach — a long arc of sand backed by the Passeig Jaume I promenade. The beach has all the resort facilities: sun lounger hire, pedalos, windsurfing instruction, a first-aid post, and regular bus connections. The promenade itself is pleasantly wide, well-planted with palms, and active with café terraces through the evening.

At the southern end of Llevant Beach, the Illuminated Fountain puts on a nightly water-and-light show in summer. It is free, runs for about 20 minutes, and draws a crowd — go early for a good spot on the promenade. It is the closest thing Salou has to a specifically local spectacle.
