Sant Feliu's restaurants concentrate around the Plaça del Mercat and along the seafront promenade. Local specialities lean on the sea — the Costa Brava is famous for its suquet de peix (fish stew), arroz negro (rice with squid ink), and the regional sausage-and-rice combination arròs a la cassola. Catalan favourites — pa amb tomàquet, escalivada, calçots in season — are everywhere.
For an upscale meal try Sa Marinada by the marina (modern Catalan, good wine list); for a casual lunch with a view, the seafood places along the Passeig del Mar; for tapas, the small bars around Plaça Espanya. The covered Mercat Municipal on the inland edge of the old town has good fresh produce and is a useful place to assemble a picnic for the Camí de Ronda.
