Maritime Rescue Museum

A small museum at the eastern end of the seafront covering the history of the Spanish maritime rescue service, with model boats, signalling equipment, photographs, and one preserved 19th-century lifeboat. Friendly, free, and short — twenty minutes is enough.

Combine with a walk along the seafront and the short coastal path south to S'Agaró.

A story
Sant Feliu's first lifeboat station was one of the earliest established on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, in 1898. The wooden hand-rowed lifeboat on display, the 'Acción', was in active service for forty years and is credited with at least twenty rescues.
