Passeig del Mar

Sant Feliu's seafront promenade — a long palm-shaded boulevard between the main town beach and a row of Modernista summer villas built by wealthy Barcelonan cork merchants in the late 19th century. Among the finest buildings: the Casino dels Nois (now a cultural centre with a free entrance hall worth seeing), the Casa Estrada with its tiled façade, and the Casa Patxot, with a distinctive turret.

The promenade is the natural place for an afternoon stroll, an ice cream, and a sundown drink at one of the seafront cafés. The view across the bay frames the rocky promontory of Sant Elm to the south.
