One of the best provincial museums in Spain, the Museo de Pontevedra is spread across several historic buildings around Praza de Leña. The collection spans archaeology, fine art, and Galician history — highlights include rooms dedicated to the artist Castelao, a strong section on Galician goldsmithing, and paintings by Goya and Sorolla. The 18th-century baroque palace of Castro Monteagudo, the Fernández López building, and the pazo of García Flórez are all connected and form a single circuit.
Open Tuesday–Saturday, with reduced hours on Sundays. Closed Monday.
