Getting There

Logroño has a small airport — Aeropuerto de Logroño-Agoncillo — with limited scheduled services, so most visitors arrive by train or road. The railway station connects to Zaragoza (around 2 hours), Madrid (around 3.5 hours), and Barcelona. The N-232 and AP-68 roads provide fast connections to Bilbao (1.5 hours), Pamplona (1 hour), and Zaragoza. Bus connections are good for regional towns.

The city centre is compact and walkable. If you are exploring the wine country, a hire car gives the most flexibility — public transport to individual bodegas and wine villages is limited.
