Lo Pagán is a beach resort first and foremost. The main activities are swimming in the warm Mar Menor, taking the therapeutic mud baths on the foreshore, and walking the long promenade. The salt flats and flamingos of the San Pedro del Pinatar nature reserve are within easy reach to the north.
