The nearest airport is Alicante-Elche (ALC), about 60 km south. Buses run from Alicante to Altea via the ALSA network, taking around an hour and a half. Alternatively, take a taxi or hire a car — driving the coast road from Alicante is straightforward.
From Benidorm, Altea is 10 km north; a local bus connects the two towns.
